2X lanserer Application & Virtualdesktopserver v8 This version includes the following additional features: • Managing client settings: Administrators can now control users’ settings directly from the management console. • Zero-Management Thin Clients: All necessary components are included to convert any device to a thin client. • 2X SecureClientGateways Management: Administrators can now remotely install and manage multiple 2X SecureClientGateways. • Windows CE Client: Provides that the CE client will have virtually the same functionality of standard XP and Vista clients. • TWAIN Redirection: Will allow TWAIN technology devices to use the hardware connected to client devices, such as scanners and digital cameras. Until 31st March, customers crossing over to 2X licenses from competitive products are eligible for special 2X ApplicationServer and 2X VirtualDesktopServer license and software maintenance savings.
